Slowcarb Diet – Week 2

In my continued effort to better fit my pants, I’m still running with this diet.
week 1

12/27

Breakfast – 2 eggs, Sausage Patty, fiber+ cottage cheese, kimchi
Lunch – Toa Yuen Mystery Chicken and Pork
Dinner – New Mongolian BBQ Chicken, Pork, Beef, Cabbage, Napa, Onions

12/28

Breakfast – 2 eggs, Sausage Patty, fiber+ cottage cheese, kimchi
*Missed Lunch :(
Dinner – Ceasar Salad, 9oz Victoria’s Fillet at Outback Steakhouse, Veggies

12/29

Breakfast – 1 Shoyu Egg, 5 Slices of cured Beef
Lunch – Panang Chicken with steamed veggies instead of rice
Dinner – Beef/Pork Shabu Shabu with spinach and napa, Green Tea
(I think I still have that 9oz fillet going through me. We’ll see tomorrow)

12/30

Breakfast – 2 XL eggs, Sausage Patty, fiber+ cottage cheese, kimchi
Lunch – 3 Taco Supremes from Taco Bell
Dinner – Beef Bulgogi
(1 Tbsp Peanut Butter)

12/31

Breakfast – 2 XL eggs, Sausage Patty, fiber+ cottage cheese, kimchi
Lunch – Piazzas Turkey Dinner with Veggies
Dinner – Black Eyed Peas with Pork skins and Bacon, Rice, California Rolls, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Milk, Champaign, Coca-Cola

Breakfast – 2XL eggs, Sausage Patty, fiber+ cottage cheese, kimchi
Lunch – Beef/Pork Shabu Shabu with napa
Dinner – Salt & Pepper Pork, Clay Pot Chicken, Beef with Bok Choi
(Chocolate Chip Cookie, cheat!)

Breakfast – 2XL eggs, Sausage Patty, cultured cottage cheese (gross!), kimchi
Lunch – 3 Taco Supremes from Taco Bell
Dinner – Black Eyed Peas with pork skins and bacon

Week’s recap and takeaways

  • Chocolate Chip Cookies are fucking delicious.
  • Conversely, Cultured Cottage Cheese is disgusting (tastes exactly like vomit).
  • Not logging meals in the blog wastes a lot of time when trying to recall
  • Cravings are still harder immediately after binge day.

Standing in front of the mirror, my gut is noticeably smaller. It’s still a bit flabby when I’m sitting down however. Over all, I feel like I’ve lost a little bit of my gut, but I’m still not satisfied with the progress I’ve made. At this rate it seems like it’s going to take more than a month to get my gut down to the size I want it.
